Christophe Goldberger is an experienced media professional in the field of production, distribution and management of kid’s properties and brands, with international experience in Canada, France and Spain. Extensive network of contacts with key players of the industry, and a broad understanding and expertise of youth programming and brands. Complete skills covering the entire process of creating and exploiting a property successfully across all media. Skills include development, financing, production, sales, acquisitions, negotiation of complex international co-productions, legal affairs, public and press relations, and team management.

He was the Producer and Head of Distribution & Marketing at Barcelona based Imira Entertainment, a leading European production and distribution company specialising in youth programming. Goldberger oversees the development, financing and production of key properties for the company. He also supervises all distribution activities of the company, including of third party properties and brands from renowned producers, across all media. He is also responsible of all marketing activities and public relations of the company. He was previously Head of Business Affairs at France Animation/Moonscoop in Paris and Head of Business Development and later General Manager of Montreal based Klik Animation.

As Producer and Head of Sales & Acquisitions

Christophe oversees the development and production of key properties for the company. He also supervises all distribution activities of the company’s own catalogue, and of third party properties and brands, across all media. Tasks include annual sales projections, budgets, management of the sales team, reporting, management of key client accounts. He contributed to forge strategic partnership with renowned producers and distributors such as Millimages, ZDF Enterprises, Hit Entertainment, Shaftesbury Films, Scholastic Media, and Sunwoo just to name a few. He is also responsible of all marketing activities and public relations of the company, and all contract negotiations.

Departure

After eight years with Imira Entertainment, he decided to explore other opportunities within the industry. Working with the team over the time had been a hugely rewarding experience, and he left with every faith that Imira will continue to go from strength to strength.
